I picked up a set of dice so that I could play counting games with my kids. Multi-colour so there are a lot of games we can play. They are a just a dollar-store set but I put them through the washer and dryer and ended up with a nice set of tumbled dice.

-------------------------------------------------- THIS IS O's GAME -------------------------------------------------- Three dice; one for a hand opener and two for points.
OBJECT: get to 100 points or whatever value seems doable. You can go over the score objective and don't have to come in exactly.
Roll a single die called the Hand Opener. If it shows a 1 or 5 play is passed. If not roll the other two and mark down the points.
If there is a match between the Hand Opener the player has an option to roll the non-matching die or take the points on the table of all the three dice. If no match between the Hand Opener and the two rolled dice occurs then the count on the two rolled dice is the score and is added to the running tally.
TOUGH RULES: If the second roll shows a 1 or 5 the turn is over. Players must leave their roll on the table and if the next player can make a match he can steal it.
REALLY TOUGH RULES: You can bring in another two dice but the roll has to match something already in your hand and not show a 1 or 5. And you have to meet the score objective exactly or pass.
