There are so many people around when you get to high school. I’m worried that I’ll forget all of their names and that no one will notice me.

No problem, there’s nothing to worry about at DDSS. Our school isn’t big and scary like a lot of other high schools: We’re small and we like it that way. We want to get to know you and we want you to get to know everyone else at school – your peers, your teachers and the school administration.

 

At DDSS, we pride ourselves on being a community school. A smaller student body means that more of our students get involved with school activities and programs. There are so many more opportunities for each student to find a way to participate that fits their individual interests
